Thanks, I brought this up out of curiousity really. Remember I've been gone for so long, I have no idea what has transpired in the previous months If Sykes is at peace now I'll leave it at that then. No need for to me to contribute to a month old argument diedel can sometimes act a little ..well edg...

Well go ahead and try the model changes anyway for the sake of comparison.

But I wouldn't make the single rear thuster so big it consumes the entire back.

Sorry for reviving a 2 month old thread but I really must ask What the hell happened here!? I always though Sykes was a nice guy, then I leave this forum in June, come back in December and...this... So he made a bold statement in a thread about DScent and another poster corrected him, challenging hi...

I'm using campus PC's, so perhaps the university proxy server has something to do with that.

I'm getting a 404 now, did you just pull the file?

It's not just you. There is already a SM device you can find in the cavern so I knew it could be useful there (I can think of using it to skim past the cloaked robots and reaching one of the checkpoints so you don't need to bother with them)

Sounds like you don't trust me being able to participate in such a discussion. I am a master of controversial discussion. ;) Sorry about that, your initial post sounded a bit defensive even if that was not the case. So as a precaution I wanted to assure you this critique is entirely constructive Yo...

Plus it would make no sense to the storyline if the secret level started there. I tested level 3 just now, getting killed never sent me to the secret level :? Suddenly there are all these bugs popping up and I'm the only one who doesn't get them... I'm assuming you were playing version 1.51 via the ...

You were using DI 1.3 Bugger, I made a number of important changes between 1.3 and 1.4. I'll need to hunt down every alteration and redo them (I have a change log but I didn't keep a list of every misaligned texture I found) Still, it would take less time to do that than replace all the objects in t...

I've been PM'ing with Woodpecker. Apparently he found a bug in level 2 where for some reason a set of guidebot cages crashed the game when destroyed At first I thought he meant a bug that existed in Sphere 1.2 where 5 guidebot cages in the corridoors were occupying the exact same place as a prison d...

Sure, they are very powerful. That is why the bullet time requires the Slomo as prerequisite, and that is why its energy cost is so high. These devices are meant as a last resort, not a free ticket for a safe ride through every level whatsoever. Therefore they only make sense when you build your mi...

Thoughts about the bullet time ability

After finally playing this game again I got myself thinking. This time regarding the slomo and bullet time powerups. It was a cool little trick first time I got to play with it back in 1.12 but after that I don't remember the last time I have used it at all. Being able to speed past robots at twice ...

Now why didn't I think of that? Anyway, with D2X-XL running again I plan to transfer my added rooms to DI Split and replace the object triggers. I can do that after my graduation this Friday There are still some major changes I want to make: I want to extend the Forest level which is somethi...

@Karx, I was using 'VIP' loosely to describe people of interest in our project. You knew that, quit nagging. :strange:

@Sirius, ok, so was that towards any particular Millennium goal? Or did you enter the project before Microsoft came up with the Millennium goals?
