Sorry woodpecker... Please read my post again... doh No worries :D I'll give it another go tomorrow...it's quarter to 1 in the morning here lol  EDIT: I've created 3 distinct tickets, each with one of the four files required. I could not add files after creating the ticket. There is a fourth b...

BUG REPORTS & FEATURE REQUESTS - PLEASE READ THIS! The above thread is in this forum. Please read. I did read that and it does not tell me how to attach multiple files to one ticket, though I have re-read it and indeed I have to create a separate ticket for every bug. Somehow I missed that bit ...

Attaching multiple files for bugfix

I know I have to attach several files for a bug ticket, but sourceforge only lets me attach one. Do I have to create 3 separate bug tickets for (one for each bug) or is there another way?

Woodpecker, re: Powerups in pointless places The powerups you have mentioned are easily enough to reach, and are a reward for the more diligent and investigative player. Powerups only accessible via single-use puzzles are another story (see my post above). Yes, that's fair and I retract my objectio...

inaccessible powerups : Powerups that can be permanetly blocked off away from you due to some cheap prank such as sudden walls popping up in front of the powerup because you didnt take the extremely subtle workaround or the powerup is behind a door that closes and locks before you can figure out wh...

Those are some excellent tips Ononot Again. Agreed. I'm moreorless a newbie myself: I've played on and off for some time now, but only completed level 5 on trainee, and can agree with all of what (s)he said. I did love level one of Pumo mines, though - it was good fun and not too tough. Anyway, my ...

Tutorials

I was thinking there should be a tutorial on how to use DLE-XP, covering the basics like adding cubes, building matcens and simple triggers. Not everybody has DMB2, and those like myself who don't will have to work out everything from trial and error, or flood this forum with novice questions. Obvio...

Maybe it has to do with where you installed it? Good call, thanks. I noticed a little patch saying it couldn't find one of the HOG files, so in preferences I told it where all the files were and it now works fine. :) EDIT: One more thing: where do I save the file when it's done? I've put it in the ...

Program crashing on windows 7

DLE-XP v 1.7.80 crashes as soon as I try and place a reactor in the level. It also gives an "Error 123" message when I load up. Is this a compatibility issue with Windows 7?

I was using version .82 but I've run it on .84 and there's no smoke now except for a single, lighter puff every now and again. :)

Actually, none of them have the capacity to turn :P And i can't do anything about it as it's related to internal engine limitations. That's interesting. Surely if it's a reskinned robot, then the robot's AI will make it move? I like the idea of multi-directional shooting, though. :thumb: BTW...did ...

I've just made it to level two. You know the dual-shot cannon in the first big room with all the doors? Is it possible to make it so that it follows you, rather than only firing straight ahead? Currently as soon as you're out of range, the cannon stops and it becomes a sitting duck which, considerin...

Smoke on reversing

Hi everyone, Does anyone know why when I reverse my whole screen is filled with smoke? If I'm running away from an enemy it makes it impossible to see anything at all, nevermind dodge their missiles. This has been the case for several versions, so I assume it isn't a bug, but it is pretty irritating...

Yes, the latest version fixed the problem. :)

Your level set looks stunning! There's great attention to detail in all of the textures, and I particularly like the energy centres with their swirling clouds on the ceiling. :D

After the briefing on level one, where it should load up the level, I got the following error message: "Segment 5 has invalid station NTYPE 255 in fuelcen.c" Does it require the latest version of D2x-xl? I'm using version 1.15.69 as I can't download the latest version - sourceforge points ...
