Render Options: Framecap via driver (enabled)
Result:
If v-sync is enabled within the driver it is enabled in the game.
If v-sync is disabled within the driver the game fps run at maximum all the time.

Render Options: Framecap via driver (disabled)
--> game runs at constant 60 fps

right ?

Hi Descent-Freak, did you install the hires-sounds ? Extract the 7zip-file while using the stored path information. You´ll get a "sounds2" folder in the main game directory which contents wav files, a "D1" subfolder (contents hires sounds for D1) and a "d2x-xl" subfolde...

Hi Descent Freak,

disconnect all usb adapters. Delete all controls you set up before. Connect your joystick again. Check if all buttons are in their default position (if the joystick is older maybe one button sends a constant signal).
Try to set your controls again.
