Agreed, Descent needs the industrial mining feel and look to it.

However, what you've done still looks great. :)

As a printed or painted sign, I love it.

I also liked the first one as a monitor screen.

I believe both types are acceptable. Just think as to which signs would be unchanging and which might vary and set them up accordingly.

That's much better than the previous one. The bit saying 'Warning' is still a bit too blurred though. If you can make it as sharp and crisp as 'Low Gravity' it'll look much more consistent and accurate.

I don't think it's blurred. The red color on the dark background makes it look blurred.

But the top of the 'R' looks more blurred than the bottom, on the same background. Also, if it's the background causing the blurred effect, why isn't the yellow 'Low Gravity' blurred as well?

Hello guys, thank you all :-)
The complete door set is ready. Made some small changes at door08. I was way faster with the animations than I was thinking of :D
Also included is the blue rock set (color calibrated) and the first misc0XX signs. Made the signs a little bit sharper using higher resolutions.
I'm not shure about the first word of misc034. Can somebody say me what it is? My english is more than bad

This update is for Descent2 Mod 2

That is looking excellent. I'm still not too fond of the red writing...but maybe it's just my eyes. Anyway, you've done a great job! :D

Yeah, the red should probably rather be some (darkish) orange. The contrast with the dark background makes it seem to bleed into the background.
