Any word on JoFFa's beastular Pyro?

Postby Red_5 » Wed Aug 26, 2009 3:02 am

I've been gone a while but I haven't forgotten the satanic demon that JoFFa's building!

How's that coming? I'm anxious to fly it!

Not at all. Joffa = big talk, no walk. MetalBeast, who had permission to build a ship with Joffa's design, has had health problems and couldn't do anything for months.

What are the requirements for such a model?

The model in question is done. All that I'm aware of, was for it to be textured.

Here is the start of the rework of JoFFa's model.

No. Really. 2000 pollys? 16bit textures? Bump maps?

There... are no requirements. Unless maybe you're talking about limitations.

D2X-XL doesn't support bump maps at present, though.

How close is it to being finished? Could it be released as-is and still work?

The base model is finished, at least small UVW-map corrections are needed.
The most work must be done for creation of all the switchable weapons and rockets.

I will continue the work, after my physiotherapy is finished, in about 3 weeks.

Greetings MB.
