Just a thought.

Right now the engine sees the picture and if its height divided to its width - it thinks that there is a certain amount of frames - then it plays it.

Sorry for awkward explanation - you guys anyway know how it works.

what i wanted to offer:

When "png" will be enabled - i suggest to put all frames in folder corresponding to animated texture. for instance for door1 animation [door01] and in these folder files should be named as: door01#01.png ,door01#02.png, door01#03.png and so on. That way - its easier to edit separate frame and also - its possible to add additional frames fithout need to resizw whole image.

I would suggest do such thing for all possible textures - as there is a possibility to replace explosions and such.

Its just a suggestion...If you, Diedel don't want to do it - then i will wait patiently.
