MB and I have agreed to replace the "position lights" with thrusters. The following picture shows a preliminary, experimental state of the the new ship with all thrusters firing.

I like the idea of thrusters for all directions of movement. Nice ideas, gentlemen! :)

Woohoo! What does it look like with 2D thrust?

EDIT: Hmmm, with that placement, pitch and yaw are very inefficient and roll is impossible. Is that all done by a gyro?

Well, they're Joffa's design.

MB and I are currently looking into ways to make the aux thrusters look less like warts on the ship. :P

Roll isn't impossible - the thruster vectors don't quite intersect the ship's longitudinal axis.

Hey all..:) I'm back as myself. But i do not want to destroy my AlterEgo - _Dorthoor_...:)

Actually there was no reverse thrusters on the front. Those were intend to be the guns. and one more thing - all those holes in the original concept was meant to represent all weapons - without any switchable ones. they like all present as in any modern fighter. Missiles though - was meant to be stored in missile compartments. Missile compartments was intended to be to the right and to the left of the zone behind the pilot seat. And behind the pilot seat a small room for hostages...
