Looks like the black pyro. Keep this up and we'll need a fourth ship class with dual missile launchers :P I don't think we are trying to turn this into D3.

? Adorable and amusing. :)Its not the Black Pyro. Its the improved (thought-trough) design of the original Pyro GX. Its colors in this particular render match with colors of black Pyro. But thats all.

It's like comparison between Batman 0f the Tim Barton and the Batman:The Beginning of Chris Nolan. The same Batman - but different style. This Pyro - is the design of the Pyro GX - but it has a lot of guns and holes because Pyro can shoot up to 10 weapons. Аnd you cannot shoot from one hole by the different weapons it only make sense when you got a very arcade-ish and not real ship design type .

At the same time - we got a lot of robots - which shoot by two types of weapons. And you can clarly see their weapons guns for each - pyro should really shoot with lasers and missles - with which it does as you have it whan you have nothing. But when it comes to plasma - it had to be addition(not switching) of other gun (like on battle helicopers.)

This pyro - which you compare with Black - has one thing in common - that it has purple-ish colors on this particular render. Tomorrow - it will be different colors - and it will not be "like black pyro". Because colors alone - don't make the likeness.

Way too much? It's actually has a few.

Phantom XL has a slightly less holes and they are used for thrusters. Every hole has it purpose.

Let me see....

At least 12 thrusters for the turning

2 Plasma/Phoenix gun holes.

1 Fusion/Omega gun hole.

1 Vauss/Gauss/Vulcan/Gun hole

4 laser gunholes

1 Mega Mounting in the center

2 Smart Mounting on each side

2 Concussion mountings on each side

2 Homing mountings on each side

2 shield emitters - back and front.

I don't want a hole for every gun. Please use the existing models as a reference how to handle this.

Some holes are still missing:

A hole for fast inspecting the core energy.
A hole to insert coins (rental vessel).
A hole in order to have sex with it.

Okay, just kidding. You see.... way to much holes, imo. :wink:

You're right Frusti. Dont be so sxcited allthough i'm glad that you're ready to have it with my design..:)

Dont worry Diedel - you wont have to recode anything. and existing ship design are based on - i dunno - arcade-Ish idea of the game - one hole for all guns? It can be actually. But my concept is tend to more realistic state.

The thruster flame doesn't look very much like it does on the photograph of the fighter jet. It might be necessary to tweak it a bit.
