Hey, I take very good care of my computers! I give them names, I feed them, I keep them warm (but not too warm, or they start to cry, and soon pass out), and I give them lots of work to keep them happy! Dizzy, Delirium, and Vertigo are my computers. Vertigo sucks though :P I don't like him.

I'm not surprised he loves his computers that much, with a family of 10, those are the only things that are actually his!

OMG, Sykes, I just looked at your avatar and realized that you are using my thrust mod! That means I'm not the only one! :joy: Although I think the 2D version looks waaaaay cooler.

lol it's really not that big of a deal. I was being sarcastic for the most part; I'm not that obsessed. My dad is the Systems admin for a college, and we have about 13 computers running in this house. Since both my dad and I deal with so many computers each one has a name, and each room has a theme (one room will have computers named after helicopters, or super heroes, etc.). After a while, you just start calling them "He" or "Him" naturally.

Also, Pokeman, I think your thrust mod is not only the coolest mod out there, but it's built into the game now. I think. I never went and got it myself. With lo-res models, 2D thrusters jump everywhere and cause tons of graphic glitches, so I was forced to either turn thrusters off or make them 3D for this test. Although normally, I do use 2D thrusters.

Like how we are all addicted to D2X-XL. Who are we to judge?

BTW: the thrust mod is built into D2X-XL now. We all use it whether we like it or not (we like it).

That makes more sense as to why you name them. I would name them if I had that many.
Besides i name my flash drives, Ive named them all giggy, all 7 of them. only 2 have survived, giggy 7 and giggy 3. both 4 GB.

Sounds far better than "USB dongle". For the love of Xan Kriegor I hate it when people call them that.

"Here, lemme plug my dongle in here for a sec. It'll get you some good pictures."

Yeah, I can see how that can get annoying ;) Here, we call them USB sticks, or just "sticks".

Off topic ftw?

You guys make a point. I've never called any flash drive that though. I actually call them flash drives. That's what my computer teacher called them.
