Anytime around then will be good for me! (yaay no more classes or finals to worry about)
I'm use to pulling all nighters or other bizarre sleep schedules.

I do agree with Aus though, if this one is for the far away distant land players, it should be during their prime time.
I'm just afraid this would lower the player count.

One things for sure, I'll be using Skype and or vent while playing. (I might purchase fraps by then)
I'll try to get one of my friends to play, (although complete noob) it's something to shoot at.

Sweet! Yeah I'll be using Vent too.

I've decided on two times. They're separated by 14 hours, so look closely and tell me which one would work better for you. I may have gotten them a little wrong... if so, let me know. I'm bad with time conversions :P

Put me down for Option 1.

Only because I'm pretty sure that it will be the only time Diedel will be able to make it and I'd like to be there if he's there. ;)

2 am is too late for me. I cannot stay up that long anymore. 11 pm would be more suitable for me.

But just because I am the creator of the game doesn't mean everybody must adjust to me. Whatever time schedule is good for the most participants should be gone for.

What the.....

What happened to the 10pm German time? hehe

Dang this time of the year (daylight savings) is the worst for time zones. It's better the other way around.

Well, I tell you what. Rest the times to what was originally posted. I'll try to make the 5:30am games!

Will there be some sort of playlist of the maps so ppl can sorta run around and get to know them better before the event?
I will be attending this for sure.

I'd like to attend if there is a spot left, but It would be nice to have a more definite time when it starts. I'm in California.

You don't have to - another option is to find someone that does via instant messaging programs and get them to tell you when the games are starting. If you don't want to do that ... yeah, you have two other options; just guess, or camp the games list until something shows up.

From memory, there are a few people here that use IRC / Vortex?

I used to use Vortex, but I haven't installed it since I switched to Win7.

:strange: I don't understand why, but you can use it without installing.
Download steam.exe. Stick it in a folder on a flash drive or the desktop or something. Run the program, it will download the rest of the files. When finished, delete the folder and use regedit to delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Valve. Voilà, never installed.

I can't quite understand that either.

Millions of people have no problems registering on Facebook that tramples on their privacy, but when it comes to Steam, they often are so suspicious. Using Steam doesn't oblige you to anything - you don't have to buy games, you don't have to receive newsletters, you don't even have to give away excessive amounts of personal information.
