Well, I would love to join next time. We could use the TS server that was mentioned on the DU forums (I think that was the Star Citizen TS).

Have fun with your tournament Sirius. We'll fly together eventually.

It would be great to have you along Karx. TS=Teamspeak? I haven't used that yet but I'm willing to learn. Last night Puma and I communicated through Steam group chat. That seemed to work pretty well and I think it has a voice option but I also haven't tried it. I'll add you as a friend on Steam.

TS = Teamspeak. You will need a microphone if you want to talk to others. The TS client is free, and it is very simple to connect to a TS server.

For those who are interested, I am planning to play with Shadow_Hyena tonight somewhere around 9:00pm EST. We will be meeting in Steam chat and playing whatever we feel like at the time :) .

Edit: We did indeed have some 1v1 on a couple of Karx's maps. Nice maps Karx. As much fun as it was though, it would have been even better with some more pilots. We might do it again Friday night, and hopefully Pumo is still up for some more on Sunday. In any case there will be some D2X-XL games online in the next few days :D

As far as voice chat goes, Shadow and I were using the D2X-XL Steam group chat and it worked really well with voice so I think that could be a good option, unless we deliberately want to talk on one of the other Descent servers and see if anyone from the other communities wants to jump in? :horror:

Those levels, Diedel.. legendary! :P

I totally plan to be around for more XL games as long as I know they're happening. :D

Quite a few of my levels had been accepted to Zappafan's legendary level spotlight, and he only accept the cream of the crop at that time. Did you check out Pyromaniac? That's a nice map. If you like my levels, I may even build new ones. :)

I have fixed a multiplayer bug that may also affect anarchy games. I was waiting for Yoshi's savegame bug ticket, but I will create and upload a new D2X-XL with that multiplayer bug fix.

Yoshi and I are thinking of running the first ever match (unless others have already tried it) on my de-mastered Triaxiality. I would love to try for tonight at 10pm-1am MST. Keep in mind that this is a TINY map and will likely not be fun with more than 4 players so if we get more than 4 people who want to play, we can play separate games. If we have enough people, I may divulge a nice surprise for people involved ;) i can also try for tomorrow, but I can't make any promises for tomorrow because I might be with family all day.

You can pick up Triaxiality for Descent here.

Looks like Pumo beat me to it! I hope you guys like it! I'm still rather a noob with the DLE, but I do enjoy using it. I'm terrible with the lighting lol I'll have to check out the reference page for it Lol

On my way to my house. I'll be ready in maybe in maybe an hour. How will we communicate?

Hi Homey. I think there was a bit of miscommunication in our PMs. I thought that we would be playing Sunday night/Monday morning! Luckily I just got home from a dance and I'm actually up for some Descent. :)

Edit: It's getting close to 2:00am for me now and I think I'm a bit too tired to play at this point. I did explore Triaxiality and i like the looks of it :thumb: . It's pretty basic but it should a lot of be fun to fly. I hope we might be able to meet up tomorrow.

I've been using Steam chat to communicate. You can join the D2X-XL steam group and that should make it easier to find us. I think that I just found you and added you as a friend so when you confirm I can invite you to the group. Steam supports voice communication as well as text to make it easy to talk in game. I've also used the Descent Rangers' Mumble server the couple of times I've used rebirth (I hope they wouldn't mind D2X-XL users on there).

Sorry about that. I had some IRL issues that I had to take care of. Hopefully I get the chance tomorrow. I'm hoping for the morning then. I have to be somewhere at 10am MST so before then, I can play. After that, I'm pretty much out all day until the night again. I'll keep you guys posted if I can.

Also, you correctly found me on Steam. I added you and I'll find our Steam group n.n

No problem homey. I just invited you to the Steam group. With any luck I'll be awake well before noon (10:00am for you) and we'll have a chance to play. Perhaps Karx will be able to join us. Since he's in Germany he's usually asleep when I play at night but it would be great to play with him too.

Ping me on steam in the morning and hopefully the timing will work out. :D

Catch you later.
