Indeed, it has also been a long time.

All non Descent related stuff. Keep it civilized, this is not an NHB area.

..Since I last logged in here.

Over a period of four months I have at last completed my postgrad course. End results: pleasing. I'd say I have improved my academic throughput by about 25% compared to my degree by getting an A grade average this time.

Now its time to finish what I started. I still have a multi-level edition of DI to send out of the door and a multiplayer version of the aformentioned to boot. Not to mention anywhere else I can help out with existing mapping projects.

I can do all that but first I need to get a job. That student loan won't pay itself you see

I'm trying to get a position as a web developer. Anybody want to be a referee? haha :D Heck it does not even need to be relevant to my career, I just need something to pay the bills somewhere in this city. Competition is pretty big here in Auckland, particularly in the central district so I can't be too choosy

Oh well wish me luck and any job searching/applying advice you can and perhaps I can land one before graduation day which is in about 3 weeks. The sooner I start getting paid the sooner I can start drilling mines ;)

Competition in the IT field isn't particularly bad if you're good at it. There's a constant shortage of competent professionals so you'll find something.
