Yet another playthrough of D2 ... sorry firebingo, but these are a dime a dozen. Don't you have anything a bit more original and refreshing?

And I'm the polar opposite. I love watching Descent playthroughs. I'll check these out.

Yeah, I think that playthroughs of fan-made missions would be much sweeter (I also think there are way too many playthroughs of main D1, D2:CS and D2 vertigo already :P)

I liked a lot the play-throughs from Wolfie (Vignettes, TEW, etc.)

So what about playthroughs of great classicals? (Entropy, Phobos, Obsidian, Orion Nebula Project, etc)

Maybe it's just me, but I've only seen one other D2CS playthrough and only ever seen one Vertigo playthrough...

It seems all these are in D2X-Rebirth though, I'd love to see one of these playthroughs done in D2X-XL (in HD :D).

BTW Boiling point is still too hard for me... I'm going to try to play through with the Hxms removed to take a look at the level architecture at least, but in the latest version level 1 is impossible because a half-open door that you need to shoot a guided missile through (for the first switch at the start) is somehow rendered as a blank wall.

So I'll have to remove that wall as well... lucky I'm already modifying the mission so I can get through it  .

Typo fixed... I saw what happened to Sapphirewolf.

I have seen the first minute of the video and I'm pretty sure that the game is not setup to use all the details and effects of d2x-xl. D2X-XL looks much better on my PC 8). I suggest to record a walkthrough, which will show all the goodness of d2x-xl. Such a record would be unique and something new.

I have fixed that door bug in Boiling Point recently. You need to re-download it and make sure the mod inside the archive is re-installed properly.

Firebingo is using Rebirth because he has had trouble with sound in D2X-XL - because he hadn't set sound up properly.

-execute C:\documents\explanation.txt\
-I didn't want to take the time to change all the options back to what they would be back in 1996. It was easier just to use rebirth.
-end of line
Just had to referance tron, lol. And I do mean end of discussion, no more talking about rebirth.

@ firebingo: Tell me your problems you had or may have with d2x-xl sounds. Maybe we find a solution.
