You might need to sacrafice a few key controls but this could work.

I think the iPhone already has the hardware it needs to run standard Descent

BTW, thanks mods for moving this...

You could steer by tilting the iPhone, and maybe move by holding the home button or something. Or you could hold the iPhone upright and there would be a little virtual keypad to work with...
