This might appeal to you, now that I think of it. My best friend has been obsessed with Wedge ever since I met him. He goes by "Wedge in glitter", and he knows the history of Wedge and his actor from birth to current career (which is a bagel boy, btw)

Wedge is Red 2, I think. But I ignored him every time he started rambling about Wedge..

The problem with big images is less band width than screen size related. ;) Big images blow the browser window area up so much that even with a wide screen monitor you can get in trouble seeing the entire width, forcing you to scroll. One thing you can do is post a mid-sized image here (like 800x600), and make it a link to a full resolution image you host somewhere else, allowing people to view the big image with a click on the medium sized.
