in which case Descent 1 couldn't pull it off. XD

Note to Sirius: I'm currently (STILL) in the process of moving, so I won't be able to view either yours or Pumo's level until about...maybe...a week from now. I'll give feedback then.

You can teleport to markers? Ugh. Is there some way for level designers to ban you from using some of these abilities?

What's so bad about that? You can only place markers where you've been anyway.

But what if you don't want a player to go back to where they have been? It is much harder for level designers to do that now and that is generally what all the fuss is about.

For example: Levels such as Team Death (and the new recreation for D2X-XL) have gameplay elements that rely on preventing players from going back the way they came. You can now use marker teleports to play that level in unintended ways, all the purists will probably call it an exploit.

How about a trigger that disables teleporting to markers and one that enables it? That should solve some to most, if not all the fuss. :P

That seems like a reasonable solution. Then the spawn location could be marked for disable and not have an enable built into the level.
