There's a useful internet rule for dealing with people like Fox too. And it goes "have a sense of humour and be prepared to recognize that it was really meant as a joke and I don't actually care what kind of player start it is".
It is a horribly specific rule which probably couldn't apply to any other situation but it applies here because it does.

The 1st person view is starting to look excellent, and now that it shows robots & powerup sprites it's even better!

Because people like to think that they're right. It's only that convenient because it's that true.
Besides, the actual point of my post was that the picture made me all :omg:  :thumb: which implies that I think you did a great job. The joke was beside the point. Actually it was beneath the point but that's just nitpicking.

Or maybe because your comment wasn't funny?

Yeah it was pretty lame. I'd been in an overeuphoric mood ever since I finished my job interview yesterday morning and by that point I'd used up all the good jokes.

The point of my post was that DLE-XP now looks even more uber-awesome. Can we leave it at that?

You're happy you had your job interview? So you got the job?

I'll find out in a couple weeks but I think I did better in the interview than I've personally done in any interview before. I don't know why but they generally don't tell you in the interview if you've got the job.
And I got some brochures with info on where else I might be able to get a job if someone else interviewed better than me, so even if I don't get the job going there wasn't a waste.

But now like I've been trying to say by saying the same thing over and over :ot:
There's only one dev blah comments thread and it would be really confusing if you had to make another one :P.

Heh. I'm glad I keep older versions of the installers (or simple archives as the case may be) for all of my programs just in case I can't install the latest version and I need to install an older version, then update. Minor inconvenience if you think ahead :).

[DLE-XP OpenGL renderer]
Hey, what do you know, I can apply FSAA on my editor now...

Question: It seems the editor on openGL mode, renders at fixed Depth Perception, regardless of setting. Is that an intended behaviour at OpenGL mode?

Yes, it is. You are having depth perception already in OpenGL mode.

You know, depth perception is something so complicated that if we didn't have it, we probably would be saying it isn't possible. Interesting science fact.

Man.. I have such a horrible time remembering that the Development Blah even exists.
Some people are like Slinkies. They aren't really good or even useful for anything but they always manage to put a little smile on your face when you give them enough of a push down the stairs.
