Looks like four of the D3 robots don't have models loading for me either (no matter which version of the level I try). Might have to put this recording thing on hold until I find the time to fix it.

I'm leaning against recording on Insane as well - tried a warm-up run-through of part of the D1 section and realised it's going to be very boring to watch because of the way I have to play it not to run out of lives. Hotshot is probably about as high as I could go without drawing it out.

This is rather a D2X-XL than a level problem. Which robots (robot numbers & segments from DLE-XP please)?

Well out of curiosity I started this particular campaign tonight...

Holy crap. This thing is huge!

But I must say, I haven't felt this nostalgic in quite some time! The D1 level is build just like those mines from days of old. Man it feels good!

There are particular robot types (models) that don't appear rather than individual robots. I've collected the first instance of each (using level 3 of antho1-3 since it's a bit easier to look them up there) but it also applies to robots spawned from bosses which have no segment/object number.

Segment 614, object 13 - Omega Clone (id 58) - should be Orbot (model85.oof)
Segment 366, object 3 - Omega Guppy (id 56) - should be Stinger (model82.oof) - for some reason this looks like an Ice Spider in-game, I have no idea why
Segment 238, object 2 - Spider Clone (id 60) - should be a funny glow-pipe thing (model87.oof)
Segment 304, object 1 - Water Boss (id 46) - should be a green Thresher (model70.oof)

The other three models are working correctly.

Are those models still in the hog file?

Not sure if this is a D2X-XL bug or not, but in the first level, every single time I go for the cloaking device above the dome-shaped lava fall place with all the fusion hulks (which are apparently invulnerable, by the way) the program crashes and the log file ends with about a gazillion entries along the lines of "invalid light data."

If D2X-XL crashes it cannot possibly be a bug, right?

What I meant was an error in the level data or the program itself

Light data is something D2X-XL computes when first touching a new level, or a new version of a level.

Yeah, they are actually. The level is so old it pre-dates mod support

How IN THE HECK do you open the exit door...

(Fantastic work, by the way  I have spent many an hour in these mines being amazed!)

Doesn't killing that final boss do it?
