But Sirius, in other shooter games today, the AI is indeed difficult to destroy. Lost Planet, Halo, etc, if you up the difficulty, of course it gets harder to hit the bots. Just like in D1 and D2. Just in D3, the bots have more room to move around in. I am assumeing thats why the mouselook was updated in D3. Faster mouse movements to hit faster robots.

Robots can be hard to hit in Descent 2 as well.

Try those little spawns with Exact hit boxes enabled

Uhm... the difference is, in other shooter games today, you have hitscan weapons to kill them with. In Descent 3, you used the Vauss or MD if you still had ammo left, as well as missiles where they worked. Otherwise you just missed. (The other alternative is to fly up so close to the robots that they can't dodge, which of course doesn't do wonders for your shields either...)
