Original D2 MIDI locations

Postby Sykes » Wed Mar 14, 2012 3:14 pm

Can someone tell me where I can find the original D2 MIDIs? I'm on Windows 7 so I couldn't install the game, but I have the original disc here. A preliminary search couldn't find anything. Thanks!

Well, you can extract the MIDIs by opening the Descent2.hog file with any HOG editor (If it's the Win95 version) or with DTX2 (and convert the music to MIDI with that same program) if it's the DOS version.

But to save you from the hassle to do all that stuff, here you can get the MIDI files ;) :

And, as a bonus, if you're interested here is also a pack with the D1 midis:

Enjoy! :)

NP mate!
As I'm also a fan of the Descent 1 & 2 MIDI music, I always have it at hand to listen to it everytime I want to. :)
