exit sequence glitch

Postby Descentfreak1032 » Thu Jun 06, 2013 12:56 am

I don't know whether this is a glitch or not, but almost every time I exit a level in Descent 1, the camera would pan back farther & farther from the ship during the exit sequence instead of stopping at a certain distance like it should be doing. I was playing level 10 of Descent Vignettes & when I exit, the camera wouldn't stop moving from the ship, it kept going & going until I couldn't see the ship, and at the end of the sequence the ship appears really tiny & exits in an awkward angle. Is there a way I can fix this?

In which level of Vignettes this happens?

Tell me to make research on that and see if it's an issue on the level or the program.

It happens with all Descent 1 levels. It's more noticable in levels 10 & 25 of Vignettes because of how long the exit shafts are.

It scales with time then. Some factor is a little bit off probably. Dfreak, you should post a but ticket on sourceforge.net, if not already: http://sourceforge.net/p/d2x-xl/bugs/?source=navbar

How do I do that? When I try to register on Sourceforge, it says something about a 'job title' & 'number of employees'.

Not an issue at all, fortunately.
As the site is designed for programmers in general (including profesional ones) that's why it asks for that info, but you don't necessarily need to have a job title or employees as a requirement for registering.

Just put Student/Retired or Other/Undisclosed if you don't have a job title, and less than 50 employees, and you should be done. :)
