Tag Game Mod(e)

I was wondering if it would be feasible

2 types:

-Fast weapon Gauss, Vulcan, Merc, Flare
-Slow weapon Fusion, Conc, Flare

and a switch for touchbacks or no touchbacks

or is it even worth the time.

If you ment this to be a discussion of your idea?

I don't even understand the question. And I don't know what "touchback" means.

He's talking about a game type MOD.

Kinda like Freeze Tag for D3, but using the following weapons he listed above.

"Touchbacks" if I remember correctly......... Is when a player shoots you. You have to shoot him back to score points?

So I'm guessing that with a switch to turn it on or off...... This will make it where the player is or isn't able to shoot you back after taking hits. :?

Perhaps Joffa meant something along the lines of the Quake 3 modification freezetag?

A follow-up on this.
If touchback is off, I'm guessing the player that is hit. Has to wait and avoid the other player for a set number of time -(seconds before that player can shoot back).

So player 1 hits player 2 with one shot. Player 2's weapons are disabled temporally.
Player 1 must hit (shoot) player 2 within the time frame - as many times possible to score points off him.
Player 2 must avoid player 1 after being shot until the number of seconds finish. Then player 2 can shoot back.

If touchback is on...... You can shoot each other without disabling weapons, but you need to hit the player 2 times or more to be able to score points?
Once you hit the player 2 times and score the point/s. You have to hit the player again 2 times to score again.
So player 1 hits player 2 twice and scores point/s. Player 1 must hit player 2 twice again to score point/s.
Player 2 needs to do the same as above to score points.

The weapons TB listed are the 2 types of weapons Modes that can be played in the MOD.

Well, thats my take on it. Though TB could be thinking entirely different from what I'm thinking! :lolol:

Ok Here it is the fast weapons are for furious fights, and the slow are for skill.

A touchback is when you get shot and get "tagged" and you can shoot the player who shot you, and you can shoot other players.

A NO touchback is when you get shot and get "tagged" and you cant shoot the other player who shot you but you can go after "other" players.

BTW for this mod the weapons woudnt do any damage, just a collision for a "tag" or hit.
