lol, what can I say? :lolol:

I'm a proud follower of D2X-XL and your work on it, and I'm in love with the entire project and concept, and everything related, lol  .

After all, it's because XL exists and because of your work on it that I might be able to fulfill my dream: to make Pumo Mines as a full-fledged badass mission.

Time for some more Pumo Mines news!

Here's a couple of teaser screenshots (a petition from Wolfie  ) of the last part, including the boss arena of PM Level 17 (last level).
It was originally a part of the Azaran Zodiark level from Darkflamewolf, but now it is textured and ambiented in Pumo Mines style, and to be more specific, in Hosako Empire decoration style. ;)

It's still WIP, but you get pretty much the idea.

I think Wolfie design style (that is a bit different from mine) fits the Alien-ish Hosako texturing scheme pretty good, and in fact shows some differences between PMC facilities and Hosako facilities, as it should.
So it's a great feature (story-wise), thanks to Wolfie. :thumb:

I likes. It reminds me of the alien hive in level 4 of D3 mercenary.
But if this is a Hosako stronghold why the PMC door in the first screenie? Did the Hosakos take over extrasolar PMC mines and convert them to strongholds?
We live in a universe... It's distracting

Yeap, although it's not an entire level, it's a just a fragment of her now defunct Azaran Zodiark level project.

She gave it to me to give it a use, so I decided to use it as the Alien structure of the Hosako stronghold, that will be actually the very last part of Level 17.

As it's still a WIP, the door designs aren't tweaked as they should, as I haven't made a Hosako door texture yet ,and there are also some lamp textures I need to modify later.

However you almost nailed it, as indeed Hosakos have taken some extrasolar PMC facilites and installed their strongholds on there, sometimes even using modified parts of the original PMC technology (robots, etc.).
They have also very advanced technology and also the original Virus disk after all.

Level 17 will be divided in two sections:
An upper PMC mining facility complex, in my design style, and a lower Hosako facility in Wolfie's style.

Time for some more news!

The first part of Level 6 is finally done, that is a dark natural cavern where you start.

Now is time to move to work on the second part, that will be of a rather different style, rare to see on Descent levels. ;)
