I've started retexturing some robots from other D2 missions to possibly use in mine, if it's legal.
I've got some screenshots of them, all of them in level 19 (Sliver Station).
I'm also changing most of the level textures into textures from D3.
One of the robots from Kryllidan Krusade, retextured:
The same robot, but with different textures, and weapons:
A robot from Project: Mandrill, retextured and given Guided missiles (which I've never seen used on a robot before.)
BTW - the screenshots were taken on insane difficulty using the "minemine" cheat that Diedel mentioned.

I don' think Kyouryuu won't be happy if he sees that you retextured one of his models from Project Mandrill.
Overall, the level structures look great.

Try to ensure we can see the subjects of your screenshots...
The only distinctly visible features of the second are plasma blobs.
Borrowing material from other missions probably is legal in some way or another. I'm not quite sure how it works though. It is plagiarism, of course, and different authors may or may not be happy with their work being lifted.

I'm not going to release anything without getting permission from the authors and giving them credit in the mission's text file and the credits. I've already e-mailed Kruel and PMed Koryouu to ask permission. If I don't get permission, I won't use the models.
EDIT: I've got Kruel's permission to use polymodels/robots from Konflict at Karon and Kryllidan Krusade.

I've started building secret level 10, which has the same idea as secret level 4 or 6 of D2 counterstrike (getting the goodies while the mine is self-destructing) with a twist (countdown triggers.)

Here's a video showing some of Divisible Outpost. It was taken at hotshot difficulty with the "minemine" cheat. The music is from Sonic Heroes (although I have composed music for the level.)

Make sure you get permission from other robot designers before you use them in your own mission. As for a robot using guided missiles, boss 4 of The Lost Levels had guided missiles as one of its primary weapons.

Oh and one more thing, you cannot use any of the custom models from the Lost Levels (Even if you ask Dark Flame Wolf), as far as I recall. (Even though DFW's the author of The Lost Levels)
