The credits should have the .ctb extension.
You should check that (the .txb file is actually the briefing file).

Hey, Sapphire is right!
You haven't thought about the credits music (and it's a must)

I have some plans for breifing and credits songs, but I think the soundtrack can be released without them at first. Exams are soon and I want to get a release before I have to start studying full time.
Edit: The level 1 music is done: http://www.planetdescent.net/index.php?action=mgallery;sa=item;id=186

Well, I have everything worked out except the level 26 music (yes I even have the credits worked out
). I have no ideas at all for level 26 but I know a couple of Pumo's songs would work well. If Pumo doesn't respond here I'll ask on his forum as soon as his site is back up. I have a particular song in mind that I think would do The Sunspire justice.
As for the credits, I won't say what I have in mind except that it will be like the credits in most movies.
EDIT: Pumo's forums are working, it's just the main site that is down, so I'll ask there now.

Re: Enemy Within impression
Okay after playing through TEW, there is one thing missing-
The Credit sequence, Is it taken out for revision with the advent of the OSTs for TEW or you forgot to put it in?

Re: Enemy Within impression
DFW mentioned the credits didn't work in a way that implied she didn't know why.
EDIT: I guess I can tell you what the credits music is then. Basically a mega-ogg file with two of the best in-game songs (as in these two got the highest votes in the PD.net gallery). It's the level 15 music ("In Flames") slightly modified, and then the level 2 music ("Timewinder") also slightly modified, and cross-faded in. I remember the credits for TEW being very long, but I wasn't able to test whether the two songs together were too long (I actually asked DFW to lengthen the credits with the ogg song titles partly for actual credit and partly to make them long enough for the credits songs
) No word back from her as to whether she did that though.
BTW my work on making this mission suitable for a standalone D2X-XL release isn't over yet, now I'm slowly working on a robot sound mod for TEW (and possibly some other missions). The sounds may or may not get into the final D2X-XL standalone release depending on what Frustikus says (from what I know he will be/should be in charge of sound).
Most recently I made some new sounds for the Meson.

Re: Enemy Within impression
I know that rebirth skips the credits altogether while d2x-xl plays them just fine. (I think)
