Load Custom Texture

Postby Swazook » Fri Nov 05, 2010 12:19 am

How do I load a custom texture into DLE so it shows in the list on the left so I can choose it?

Also, what size and type file should that be?

Thank you.

EDIT - Ok, I found on the texture tab where to "load" the texture, and I see it is a bmp. But I don't know the dimensions of the graphic file in pixels to create - any ideas?

If you're loading a .bmp file you should make sure it's 64x64 pixels and 256 colors.

BUT, I think is better to load .TGA texture files, as DLE can load those as 64x64, 128x128 and 256x256, 32-bit color (that's 16 million of colors with alpha channel). ;)

There is a problem with the load texture function. If I try to load a texture over another, DLE crashes. If I try to edit the current texture, as soon as I click it, DLE crashes.
